Florida’s Emerald Coast “Bistro Chic”
Pure white Haussmannian wall panel moldings, gold mirrors, marble bistro tables, herringbone floors, green velvet booths…
…The sweet perfume of Rosemary, Thyme, Toasted Baguette, Truffles, Boeuf Bourguignon served by an elegant waiter…
…Melodies from Serge Gainsbourg and Edith Piaf are playing in the back, you love these songs, you try to guess the words…
…A Champagne bottle suddenly pops. You hear that very typical sound of 1500 years of French history in a bottle.
You have landed in Paris.
But are there palm trees in Paris?
Is it the Seine River? Why do you see a white sandy beach on the horizon? Are we in Paris? Or are we in “Floride”?
Come and see for yourself.
You are eating at Renaissance tonight!
Miam! Bon Appétit.

Renaissance is a “Bistro Chic” that is owned and operated by a Parisian Couple who are passionate about their country’s culture and food.
Our 32 seats restaurant takes pride in serving elevated traditional French Dishes in a typical Parisian Decor.
We do not have a strict dress code, but in a true French fashion we recommend dressing well, we do ask our guests to have a certain standard, and not come to our establishment wearing swim wear and flip flops!
-
Natasha and Mel are the owners and operators of Renaissance.
The engaged couple are both from Paris, France.
When coming to Renaissance, you will meet them as Natasha manages the restaurant and Mel is the executive Chef & Sommelier, they take pride in running the business themselves, without the “corporate, big business, big volume spirit that you encounter everywhere”.
We do not have a host, we do not have a big team.
What we do is the essence of what a true Bistro Chic should be: passion for France, passion for food, and passion for great service.

We do accommodate reservations and walk ins. To book your table, please follow this link to our opentable page.
For any reservations over 6 seats, please contact us by phone or by email.
Due to our small size, we have to charge for no-shows as they are a heavy financial charge for our independent restaurant.
-
We do take to-go orders, but cannot guarantee that we will be able to answer the phone to take your order if the restaurant is very busy.
We do not have a host, and we try to answer the phone as much as possible, so don’t hesitate and call us!
-
No and no, unfortunately.
Florida liquor law has a minimum of square footage in order to have a full Liquor license, our restaurant is too small.
We do carry wonderful wines and delicious Beers and we guarantee that they will please you!
-
Our restaurant is small, much smaller than typical American Establishments.
We took over a space that is limited and our tables are smaller than the average.
For any reservations over 6 seats, please contact us by phone or by email.
For private events and/or a full buyout, please reach out to us at info@renaissancefrench.com
-
We do have a cork Fee at $40 per bottle with a limit of 2 bottles per table.
We do have a great wine list curated by Chef/Sommelier Mel and recommend that you try our wonderful French wines!
-
We have plans to expand the services that our restaurant will offer, coming soon:
Wine Classes, Catering, Private Events, even private cooking at your beach front mansion!
We are open to any ideas, reach out to us at info@renaissancefrench.com

Our restaurant is small with only 32 seats but we know how it is like to dine and be on vacation with children.
So we decided to accept families with children unlike some high end restaurants in the area.
While this is financially risky for us, we ask parents to be reasonable, and if they have a larger family to maybe find a babysitter for the evening!
